About Dish Pending
Dish Pending is a free parody strategy game about satellite internet and red tape. Play Eon Husk, the billionaire trying to switch on StarLynk in Indya, or the government holding his file while he posts at 3am.
Each of the 24 weeks you get a hand of moves and play three. Lobby, build, post, strike deals or pick fights. The story remembers your choices: promises, court cases and frozen files come back weeks later, and the other side makes a move of its own every week.
Every four weeks the news lands as a newspaper, a TV bulletin or the family WhatsApp. Everyone gets the same daily run, so you can compare scores with friends. Every person, company and post in the game is made up.
How to play
- Pick a side. As Eon Husk, get security, licence, gateways and spectrum to 100% to switch on. As the government, reach 75, approval 55+ and sovereignty 40+ at the same time.
- Play three moves a week from a hand of six, then end the week. Moves you just used sit out a week, and repeating them loses punch.
- Projects take two or three weeks of moves but pay every week once they're done. Lasting moves change the game for good.
- Watch the side meters. Each has a sweet spot that helps your goals; too low or too high hurts them.
- Win early for a bigger score. Lose if goodwill, approval or sovereignty collapses, or you run out of money.
- Daily run: everyone plays the same seed each day. Log in to put your score on the Eon or Government board.
